Sediment concentration

The term 'Sediment concentration' as it applies to the area of reclamation can be defined as ' The quantity of sediment relative to the quantity of transporting fluid, or fluid-sediment misture. The concentration may be by weight or by volume. When expressed in ppm, the concentration is always in ratio by weight'.
